Persepolis midfielder Adam Hemati out for season

TEHRAN – Persepolis football team midfielder Adam Hemati underwent a successful surgery on Friday to repair a torn meniscus.

The 24-year-old player has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Hemati joined Persepolis in 2017 and scored a crucial goal in 1-0 win over Sepidrood in Iran Professional League.

He was also a member of Persepolis in the AFC Champions League, where the Iranian team became runners-up in the competition.  

Mohsen Rabikhah is another Persepolis player who has suffered an injury setback in the team’s winter camp in Doha, Qatar.
